Williamson County Schools is a K-12 school district with approximately 35,000 students enrolled for the 2014-2015 school year. There are 41 school sites: nine high schools, eight middle schools, 23 elementary schools, and one K- 8 school.

According to the Tennessee Department of Education’s 2014 Report Card, WCS earned all A’s in 3-8 Achievement and three A’s and one B in Value-Added Growth, making WCS the highest achieving district in the state once again. In addition, the district’s graduating class of 2014 posted an ACT composite score of 23.5, the highest in the history of the district.
