ATTENTION, ALL STUDENTS AND PARENTS:
October 14th is the big Fall Testing Day at CHS. On that day, we will offer several different tests/activities:
Seniors: Senior Great Day of Service (more to follow), Credit Recovery, or continued ACT review
Juniors: PSAT/NMSQT (This is important because juniors will take this test in the hopes of receiving National Merit Scholarship Letters of Commendation or, more significantly, of becoming either National Merit Semifinalists or National Merit Finalists. These students receive offers from prestigious college and universities all over the United States, and those who gain Finalist status can often achieve full tuition scholarships.)
Sophomores: PLAN (Pre-cursor to the ACT test) or PSAT (Sophomores are eligible to take the test to practice for next year; however, only juniors participate in this year’s actual scholarship program.)
Freshmen: Practice ACT testing
Registration for the PSAT will be online and will take place during the window of September 4-18. Click HERE to access the form. Cost is $18. DON’T MISS OUT ON THIS INVALUABLE PROGRAM!! Registration is now closed, but payments may still be made by clicking on the button on the top right of this home page.
