Languages - World NOTE: FOR ALL LANGUAGES A beginning world language student must have mature study habits due to the cumulative nature of learning a world language. Each lesson adds to the past lesson; therefore, what is mastered in one year must be retained for use the following year. A student enrolled in the second year of any world language must have previously passed both semesters of the first year of that language. Honors world language classes begin in the second year of a language study.
