Extended Library Hours Fall 2008

The Centennial High School Library is pleased to offer its services to students immediately after school and during the evenings.

Any student needing to use the library may do so during its available hours as long as he or she has completed an Acceptable Use and Media Release form, as required by Williamson County School Board Policy.  These forms are available in the CHS Library or online through the wcs.edu website at the following link:

http://www.wcs.edu/Parent_Information.htm

When you click on this link, select "Acceptable Use, Media Release, and Internet Safety Guidelines," print the form, sign it, and return it to the CHS Library.

Students may come to the library to work on homework, projects, research, or any other school assignment.  They may also seek tutoring or work on Credit Recovery.

Guidelines:

1.  Students should park in the rear of the building and enter through the back door.
2.  Students should have their completed Media Release forms on file so that they may use the computers.
3.  Students should bring their own supplies and materials.  Those needing to use the copy machine may do so at a rate of 5 cents per copy.
4.  Students should sign in with the appropriate supervisor upon arrival..
5.  Students should maintain a quiet atmosphere conducive to successful completion of work and should exit the library when finished.

Schedule:

After School Availability:  Check weekly with Ms. Allen in the library for a complete schedule of after school library times.  IMPORTANT--YOU MUST SIGN UP WITH MS. ALLEN FOR AFTER-SCHOOL AVAILABILITY.  IF YOU WANT TO DO CREDIT RECOVERY AT THIS TIME, MAKE SURE YOU SIGN UP.  YOU CAN GAIN UP TO 90 MINUTES OF EXTRA LIBRARY TIME PER DAY BY DOING SO.
