My Life....

I'm new to Hillsboro School and absolutely love it! This is my first time in an elementary school, having been a teacher and counselor in middle schools for the past eleven years, so I'm learning new things every day!

I have a husband named Mark, a three year old named Sarah, and a one year old named Will. We also have a cat named Maggie.Right now, we're living in an apartment until our house in Atlanta sells and are a little cramped, but having a good time.

I graduated from Auburn University (War Eagle!) with a degree in secondary mathematics and from State University of West Georgia with a master's degree in school counseling. I plan on returning to school for a specialist degree in school counseling when my life settles down a little!

Teaching and counseling is my passion and I am grateful every day to be in this wonderful profession. As a third generation teacher, it's in my blood - and in my heart.
