FRANKLIN HIGH SCHOOL REBELS WITH A CAUSE CAMPAIGN

The Franklin High School Parent Association continues it's annual fundraising campaign Rebels With a Cause.  Your tax-deductible donations will bring much needed items and opportunities to Franklin High including library books, workbooks, computers, trips to conferences and competitions for teachers and students, and much more.   This is the final time the Parent Association will ask for donations until next year.

The Franklin High Parent Association is also selling insulated travel mugs embossed with the new FHS building in the school's front office.  The mugs cost $10.

 PRE-ORDER YOUR 5TH YEAR COMMEMORATIVE WINSTEAD FAMILY FAVORITES COOKBOOK

For a limited time only, the Winstead Elementary PTO will be pre-selling the “Winstead Family Favorites Cookbook!”  You don’t want to miss out on this fifth year commemorative cookbook filled with lots of wonderful recipes from our Winstead families!! 

A very limited number will be available for sale after our initial order, so don’t miss out on this opportunity to pre-order your copies now! The cost of the cookbook is $13.00 each, and checks should be made payable to “Winstead PTO” and orders are due by Tuesday, February 20th.

The top three classes selling the most cookbooks will receive a special surprise!!!  Only one form is necessary per family, but please indicate below the names of the teachers that should receive credit for your purchase.

RAVENWOOD HIGH SCHOOL MUSIC 4 MUSIC FUNDRAISER

On Monday, February 12, please plan to join us for an evening of story and song at 7:00 pm in Ravenwood’s auditorium.  This program will benefit the Ravenwood High School band program.

HUNTERS BEND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL'S BOOKS AROUND THE BEND

January’s Books Around The Bend book is My Brother Martin by Christine King Farris.  The cost of the book is $14.36.  If you would like to donate a book to your child’s classroom, please contact the office.  This is not a fundraiser but simply a service to allow parents and friends to donate books to the classroom.  Checks should be made payable to Hunters Bend PTO.  A bookplate with your child’s name will be placed in the front of the book to honor your donation.

TRINITY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL RAISING MONEY FOR "TIGER TRACK"

The Trinity PTO is raising money to fund the Tiger Track.  The Tiger Track will be one-third of a mile long and eight feet wide.  It will be located in the back school yard and available to the community during non school hours.  Any person or business interested in make a contribution should contact the PTO (Angela Jandreski) at 472-4850.  Your support will be appreciated.  Students at Trinity are looking forward to this facility.

COOKBOOK NOW AVAILABLE AT CENTENNIAL HIGH

The Jade Carroll Cookbook on DVD is now available for sale at Centennial High School.  It is loaded with over 300 recipes and includes a tribute CD to Jade Carroll, a beloved special student at CHS.  The cost of the DVD is $15, or two for $28, with 50 percent of the proceeds going to fund a Memorial Scholarship at CHS, and 50 percent to the YMCA.  Contact Lori Reszel, lorir3@wcs.edu, or 472-4270, ext. 2325, for more information.
