WALNUT GROVE STUDENTS
PLACE IN PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION

The photography skills of two Walnut Grove Elementary students have earned them top spots in the Reflections competition.  Reflections is a national PTA, state PTA and school level competition intended to highlight exceptional student art, photography, musical composition and literature. The competition is very tough and the parents and students that win at the state level go on to be recognized at the National PTA conference annually.

This year, Walnut Grove fourth grader Delaney Griffin was awarded second place in the photography division for her piece Evening on the Inlet.  Walnut Grove fifth grader Jacqueline Lunsford took first place with her piece, After Recess.  Jacqueline's photo will represent all elementary schools across the state at the National judging this spring.  Congratulations to Delaney and Jacqueline for their accomplishments!

Jacqueline Lunsford (l.) and Delaney Griffin (r) placed 1st and 2nd in the Photography Division of Reflections.
