ATTENTION GIRLS ENTERING
THE 8th GRADE
You are invited to be a part of an exciting five-day Girls
TEC (“Tackling Emerging Careers”) Camp where you will be
introduced to science and technology. Girls TEC will be held at
Centennial High School June 25-29 from 8:00AM – 3:00 PM each day
(with the exception of Friday which will end mid-morning).
During the five days you will plan and complete a variety of
projects within selected technology curriculum, participate in
problem solving and team building activities, travel to local
businesses to see technology at work, and hear from dynamic
women in non-traditional careers. If you want to know more
about networking, communications, engineering, architecture,
biotechnology, law, hospitality and tourism, and other
fast-growing, high paying technology fields, you need to sign up
for this exciting opportunity. Girls TEC is only $30 which
includes lunch each day, a tee-shirt, and many other perks that
you will not want to miss. The camp will be led by engineering
design/ drafting instructor Tim Sawyer. Space is limited and
reservations will be held according to the date the application
is received. This opportunity is open to Williamson County and
Franklin Special School Districts, Williamson County private
schools and home school students. To pre-register complete,
detach, and return the pre-registration form with check (payable
