CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

A number of construction projects are underway in Williamson County schools, which is why we've created this new section for IN FOCUS.  Each issue will feature a brief update on construction projects across the district.

Several Williamson County schools are in the midst of receiving classroom additions or renovations.  The following construction projects will have furniture installed next week:

• Bethesda Elementary - classroom addition

• Brentwood High - science, library and TV production classroom renovations

• Edmondson Elementary - classroom addition

• Fairview Middle - classroom addition

• Pinewood Elementary - library addition

Other ongoing construction projects include:

• Homestead Middle - crews working on exterior brick (see photo below)

• Lipscomb Elementary - classroom addition in progress

• Page High - bleachers and press box

• Spring Hill area elementary - bidding process complete

• Spring Hill area high school - construction scheduled to start in early August

• West Franklin area elementary - site grading in progress
