RAVENWOOD HIGH PRESENTS
A MIDSUMMER'S NIGHT DREAM
Celebrate the timeless beauty
of Shakespeare with the students at Ravenwood High School as
they present A Midsummer's Night Dream. This
will be the Ravenwood Theater Department's first production
of the 2009-2010 school year. It will be held October
8-10 at 7 p.m. and October 11 at 2 p.m. Tickets will
be $8 at the door.
LONGVIEW ELEMENTARY
PRESENTS GET IN SHAPE
Get in shape with the boys and
girls at Longview Elementary School. Third graders
will present an original music program called Get in
Shape on October 15. The Longview music and
physical education programs collaborated on this project,
which stresses the importance of staying active. It all gets underway at 6 p.m. in
the gymnasium. The performance is free.
HERITAGE ELEMENTARY
PRESENTS HELP THE ANIMALS
Come join the students at
Heritage Elementary for a night of music. Fourth
graders will lift their voices October 29 for a special
program called Help the Animals. The event,
which is free to attend, is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at
Heritage Elementary School in Thompson's Station.
SUNSET MIDDLE FALL CHOIR
CONCERT
The Sunset Middle School Choir will
serenade parents and students at its annual fall concert
November 3.
The event begins at 7 p.m. and will be held in the
Sunset Middle School gymnasium. It is free and
open to the public.
BRENTWOOD HIGH PRESENTS
THE CURIOUS SAVAGE
Greed and dishonesty are
at the center of this tale about a slightly eccentric,
extremely wealthy widow who tries to help a group of
social misfits with her inheritance. The Curious
Savage is a comedic play about a woman named Ethel
P. Savage and her greedy stepchildren. Members of the
Brentwood High School Theater Department will perform
the play November 5-7 at 7 p.m. and November 8 at 2 p.m.
Tickets will be $5.
BRENTWOOD MIDDLE
PRESENTS MAKING SCENES
Brentwood Middle School
will host its fall production Friday, November 6 at 7
p.m. Making Scenes is a collection of
one-act plays, monologues and oral interpretive
performances. This show will provide the students
with some valuable experience as they prepare to take their
acts to the Woodland Forensics Tournament on Saturday,
November 7.
WOODLAND MIDDLE FALL
CONCERT
The musical talents of the
Woodland Middle School Band will be on display at the school's annual Fall Concert.
This special event will take place Thursday,
November 19. There is no charge to attend the
performance which will begin at 7 p.m. at Woodland
Middle School.
LONGVIEW ELEMENTARY
PRESENTS MOTHER GOOSE ROCKS
Rock out with the kids at
Longview Elementary School. On Thursday, November
19, kindergarteners will perform Mother Goose Rocks
- a collection of songs featuring nursery
rhymes set to popular music. The show starts at 6
p.m. so don't be late. There is no cost to attend.
SUNSET MIDDLE SCHOOL
TALENT SHOW
Who's got talent? The
students at Sunset Middle
School do, and they're ready to show it off at the school's annual talent show. The event will be held
December 1 in the Sunset Middle School gymnasium.
Tickets will be $5 per person. |
