SUNSET ELEMENTARY DINNER AND SILENT AUCTION

Sunset Elementary School's Third Annual Dinner and Auction is scheduled for Saturday, March 8.  Families are invited to Sunset Elementary for an evening of food, music and shopping.  Last year, the school raised nearly $28,000 which was used to purchase the smart boards in each classroom.  This year, they are hoping for an even larger turnout.  The event begins at 4:00 p.m. and ends at 9:00 p.m.

HILLSBORO K-8 LONESTAR CONCERT

The country music group Lonestar will perform a benefit concert Thursday, March 13 at Hillsboro School.  The band behind such hits as Amazed and Smile is hoping to raise money for the school.  The proceeds will be used to purchase items such as smart boards, computers and playground equipment.  Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults.  For an extra $25, fans can attend a special Meet & Greet session with the band before the show.  If you'd like to purchase tickets, you can email Sherry Saunders at sherrys2@wcs.edu.

LIPSCOMB ELEMENTARY DENIM AND DIAMONDS

Lipscomb Elementary School will hold its Spring fundraiser Friday, March 7 at 6:30 p.m.  The event, which is being called Denim and Diamonds, will be held at the Martin Center in Brentwood.  Contact Lipscomb Elementary School for more information.
