2009 WCS ART SHOW A SUCCESS

The 2009 Williamson County Art
Show is now open to the public. On February 21, nearly
1,500 people attended the opening event at the Frist Center
for the Visual Arts in Nashville. The exhibit, which
can also be viewed
ONLINE, features some of the finest artwork created
by students in the Williamson County school system. More than 300 young artists from kindergarten through
twelfth grade are included in the show, which runs through
March 8, 2009.
The Frist Center will offer
free admission from March 5-8 to anyone wishing to view the
art show in person if they bring a "free admission" flyer
with them. The flyers will be made available on the
Williamson County School's
STUDENT GALLERY website starting Tuesday, March 3. Below are some of the students whose
work is featured at the art show.
