2009 WCS ART SHOW A SUCCESS

The 2009 Williamson County Art Show is now open to the public.  On February 21, nearly 1,500 people attended the opening event at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts in Nashville.  The exhibit, which can also be viewed ONLINE, features some of the finest artwork created by students in the Williamson County school system.  More than 300 young artists from kindergarten through twelfth grade are included in the show, which runs through March 8, 2009.

The Frist Center will offer free admission from March 5-8 to anyone wishing to view the art show in person if they bring a "free admission" flyer with them.  The flyers will be made available on the Williamson County School's STUDENT GALLERY website starting Tuesday, March 3.  Below are some of the students whose work is featured at the art show.
