BRENTWOOD HIGH PRESENTS
LES MISERABLES
One of the longest-running
shows in Broadway history is coming to Brentwood High
School. The Bruins Drama and Choral Departments will
collaborate in a performance of Les Miserables
March 6 through 8 at 7:00 p.m. and March 9 at 2:00 p.m. Les Miserables
follows the lives of several French characters over a 20
year period in the early 19th century. Tickets are $8
for students and adults, and $5 for children ages 11 and
under.
PAGE HIGH PRESENTS BYE
BYE BIRDIE
A rock and roll superstar is
about to be inducted into the U.S. Army in this classic
musical. Bye Bye Birdie is the tale of rock
star Conrad Birdie and a plan to give a female fan "one last
kiss" before heading off to basic training. Don't
miss this fun and exciting musical which includes such great
songs as Put on a Happy Face and Kids. Page High
School will perform Bye Bye Birdie March 6 through
8 at 7:00 p.m. and March 9 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets will
be $8 at the door.
BRENTWOOD HIGH BAND CONCERT
The Brentwood High School
Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble will perform a Guest Artist
Concert Tuesday, March 11. Guest artist Cindy Morelli
will accompany the band on clarinet. The concert is
free and open to the public. It begins at 7:00 p.m. in
the Campbell Center at Brentwood High.

CONCERT
The
country
music
group
Lonestar
will
perform
a
benefit
concert
Thursday,
March
13
at
Hillsboro
School.
The
band
behind
such
hits
as
Amazed
and
Smile
is
hoping
to
raise
money
for
the
school.
The
proceeds
will
be
used
to
purchase
items
such
as
smart
boards,
computers
and
playground
equipment.
Tickets
are
$15
each.
For
an
extra
$25,
fans
can
attend
a
special
Meet
&
Greet
session
with
the
band
before
the
show. If
you'd
like
to
purchase
tickets,

HERITAGE ELEMENTARY
PRESENTS MUSIC STYLES MOVE ME
Second grade students at
Heritage Elementary School will show off their musical
talents Thursday, March 13. The children will perform
a program called Music Styles Move Me. The
performance is free and open to the public, and it begins at
6:30 p.m. inside the Heritage Elementary School gym.
RAVENWOOD HIGH PRESENTS
WEST SIDE STORY
A tale of forbidden love
unfolds in Ravenwood High School's production of West
Side Story. Set in New York City in the 1950's,
the classic tale of Romeo and Juliet takes on a more modern
twist. Come hear such classic songs as Maria,
Somewhere and America. The performances
will be held March 27 and 28 at 7:00 p.m., March 29 at 2:00
p.m. and 7:00 p.m. and March 30 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets
are $8 at the door. |
