HOT SHOTS JUMP ROPE TRYOUTS

Students from two Williamson County schools will soon have the opportunity to join the wildly popular Hot Shots Jump Rope Team.  Now in its second year, the group consists of children in grades two through six who attend either Hunters Bend Elementary or Grassland Middle School.  "The purpose of the performance team is to give jumpers the opportunity to have experience in performing at local and state events," said Hot Shots Coach Lisa Arnold.  "It's also a great way to promote health and fitness throughout the community."   

Tryouts for the 2008-09 school year will be held April 8 and 9 after school in the Hunters Bend gymnasium.  Members must maintain a B in all subjects as well as possess a positive behavior at school.  Jumpers attend intensive summer camps as well as clinics and mini competitions throughout the year.
