Ravenwood High School senior Logan Watson's
college fund is about to receive a significant
addition. The National Academy of Television
Arts and Sciences recently announced Watson is the
recipient of their annual Trustee Scholarship.
The $40,000 award will be presented to Logan and his
parents at a ceremony in Chicago in May. This is the
first time a Williamson County student has won the
award in the history of the scholarship program.
Watson says he has always been interested in media
production. After graduation, he plans to
attend the University of Alabama where he will
further his studies in the world of
communications and broadcasting. Earlier this
month, Watson won two awards for his Daft Punk
Musique Video at the annual National Academy of
Television Arts and Sciences Awards Ceremony in
Nashville. Watson credits much of his success
to Ravenwood High School Media Production Teacher Sara
Sweitzer.
