STUDENT SPOTLIGHT

Kaitlyn Vacanti-Mitchell
RAVENWOOD HIGH SCHOOL

The Ravenwood sophomore is Tennessee's nominee for the 2008 Above and Beyond Citizens Award.  Kaitlyn helped establish Katie's Helping Hand Foundation which provides meals, long-distance phone calls, and gasoline to the parents of children fighting leukemia.

Cameron Croy
BRENTWOOD HIGH SCHOOL

Cameron won first place in the 189 lb. weight division at the 2008 TSSAA AAA State Wrestling Championships.  Cameron finished the season undefeated with a 38-0 record.

Roman Dent
BRENTWOOD HIGH SCHOOL

Roman won first place in the Triple Jump and the 110 m High Hurdles events at the 2007 TSSAA AAA State Track Championships.  Roman also finished second in the Decathlon and third in the Pole Vault.

Sean Keveren
BRENTWOOD HIGH SCHOOL

At the 2007 TSSAA AAA State Track Championships, Sean won first place in the 1600m with a time of 4:14.01.  He also won first place in the 3200m with a time of 9:06.64.
