CROCKETT ELEMENTARY
PRESENTS A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD
Two amphibious friends
navigate through an adventure-filled year in the hit musical
A Year With Frog and Toad. The production is
based on the award-winning children's stories written by
Arnold Lobel. On April 24, join the first graders from
Crockett Elementary School as they perform the fun-filled
musical. The performance, which is free and open to
the public, will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the Crockett
Cafeteria.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY HONOR
BAND CONCERT
The top band students in
Williamson County and Franklin Special middle and high schools
will collaborate for a special performance. The
Williamson County Honor Band Concert is an annual event.
This year, the performance will be Tuesday, April 29 at 7:00
p.m. at Brentwood High School. Admission is free.
FRANKLIN HIGH PRESENTS
FRANKTOWN: THE MUSICAL SOAP OPERA
Music, melodrama and munchies!
That's what you can expect at the Franklin Choral
Department's production of Franktown: The Musical Soap
Opera. FHS culinary arts students will prepare a
wonderful spaghetti dinner for you to enjoy as the choral
group entertains you with music and drama. The
performance will be May 1 at 6:30 p.m. Reservations
can be made for $10 per person. Call the choral office
at 472-4451 ext. 3462 to make reservations.
HERITAGE MIDDLE PRESENTS
PETER PAN
Take a trip to Neverland with
the Heritage Middle School production of Peter Pan.
See Wendy, the Lost Boys and Captain Hook come alive in this
classic children's tale. The performances will be held
May 2 and 3 at 2:00 p.m. at Independence High School in
Thompson's Station. Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for
students and free for children under four.
SUNSET MIDDLE PRESENTS
INTO THE WOODS
Mark your calendars for Sunset
Middle School's Spring Musical Into the Woods.
The school will present the Broadway Junior version May 2
and 3 at 7:00 p.m. in the school gymnasium.
Into the Woods tells the story of a baker and his wife
who have been cursed by a witch. The couple embarks on
a wild adventure, encountering several fairytale characters
as they try to break the spell. Tickets are $5 each.
WOODLAND MIDDLE SCHOOL
PRESENTS MULAN, JR.
Travel back to the legendary,
story-telling days of ancient China with this action-packed
stage adaptation of Disney’s Mulan. The Huns
have invaded, and it is up to the misfit Mulan to save the
Emperor. Mulan Junior is a heart warming
celebration of culture, honor and a fighting spirit.
Woodland Middle will perform the musical May 8 through 10 at
7:00 p.m. and May 11 at 2:00 p.m. in the WMS Gymnasium.
Tickets are $5 each for adults, $3 for WMS students and
children under five are free. |
