KENROSE ELEMENTARY PRESENTS UPDATE: EARTH

Come celebrate Mother Earth with the students at Kenrose Elementary School.  Fourth and fifth grade students in the Kenrose Elementary Choir will present a musical entitled UPDATE: EARTH at Nashville's Centennial Park on April 18.  This musical will be part of the Earth Day Festival and is designed to inform the community about the benefits of recycling and caring for our earth.  Their performance will begin at 11 a.m. on the Children’s Stage in the park.  It is free and open to the public.

FRANKLIN HIGH PRESENTS A SPRING CONCERT:
JOURNEY TO CARNEGIE HALL

The Franklin High School Choral Department will present A Spring Concert: Journey to Carnegie Hall on Thursday, April 23 at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium.  All of the Franklin High School choral ensembles will be featured.  Mozart’s Coronation Mass, which the chorus will be performing at Carnegie Hall later this spring, will be presented in its entirety.  The Franklin High School Visual Art Department will also have an art show featuring work by our talented art and photography students.  The concert and art show are free and open to the public. 

FRANKLIN HIGH PRESENTS ONCE UPON A MATTRESS

A ruthless queen tries to keep her son from getting married in the musical Once Upon A Mattress.  The Franklin High School Theatre Arts Department will perform this hysterical comedy May 1-3.  Watch as Queen Aggravain does everything in her power to keep Prince Dauntless the Drab from marrying a princess.  The performances will begin May 1 at 7 p.m.  There will be two performances on Saturday May 2.  The first will be held at 2 p.m. and the second will begin at 7 p.m.  The final performance will take place Sunday, May 3 at 2 p.m.  Tickets are $7.  Children five and under get in free.
