Rachel Kurilko, Brentwood High:  Named Best Delegate in the Red House at the 2009 Youth in Government conference.

Michael Zoorob, Brentwood High:  Named Best Delegate in the Blue House at the 2009 Youth in Government conference.

Brentwood Quiz Bowl Team:  First place at the Youth in Government conference.

CENTENNIAL HIGH

Emily Wilson, Centennial High:  Third place in Job Interview at the Skills USA State Tournament in Chattanooga.

Trevor Hyssong & Zach Park, Centennial High:  First place in Video Product at the Skills USA State Tournament in Chattanooga.

Eric Weldy, Franklin High:  Recipient of a $2,000 scholarship from the Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica, a national Spanish honor society.

INDEPENDENCE HIGH

Kolbe Andrzejewski, Independence High:  Third place in Technical Drafting at the State Skills USA Tournament in Chattanooga..

Abby Bennet, Independence High:  First place in Graphic Design at the Skills USA State Tournament in Chattanooga.

RAVENWOOD HIGH

Ravenwood Forensics Team:  State Champions in Interpreters' Theater at the TN Forensics Tournament and second place in the One Act Play category.

Venkata Amartharluru & James Fan, Ravenwood High:  Won the award for Outstanding Brief in the novice division for lawyers at the 2009 Youth in Government conference.
