FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
The first
day of school is always one of the most exciting days of the
year! For students in Williamson County, that day was
August 13. Thousands of students arrived at the school
early that morning to kick off the 2007-2008 school year!

RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONIES
It’s no
secret that Williamson County is experiencing tremendous
growth. To help ease overcrowding, a new elementary school
opened its doors to students August 13. Longview Elementary
is located on Commonwealth Drive in Spring Hill.
Longview
was the only new school this year, but not the only new
building. Nolensville Elementary School opened August 13 in
a new building on Rocky Fork Road.
Before
both schools were opened to students, county leaders marked
the special occasion with separate ribbon cutting ceremonies
August 12.
