STUDENTS COLLECT SHOES
FOR THE NEEDY

Changing the world one pair at a time. That's the motto behind a charity called Soles4Souls, which distributes footwear to people in need.  Last month, members of Walnut Grove Elementary School's Make a Difference Club held a shoe drive to benefit Soles4Souls.  In a matter of weeks, the students managed to collect 1,147 pairs of shoes.

Those shoes will now be distributed to people across the world.  Soles4Souls is presently working in more than 45 states and 61 countries worldwide.  The organization often helps disaster victims, disadvantaged youth and the homeless.

Members of Walnut Grove Elementary School's Make A Difference Club are photographed with bags of shoes that will be donated to Soles4Souls.  Pictured are: Cassie Hayes, Emerson Cook, Emmie Hendricks, Nicole Hare, Cameron Hinton, Jake Collins and Aidan Kelly.
