Strong Mothers Strong Daughters

The Family Resource Center will collaborate with The Williamson County Health Department for the first Annual Strong Mothers and Strong Daughters workshop, which will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2008, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Williamson County Library in Franklin. The Strong Mothers and Daughters workshop is for mothers (fathers/ grandparents/other caregivers may also attend) and daughters in middle and high school.

The workshop will consist of different speakers on topics such as: talking to your child about sex, teen abstinence, drugs and alcohol and building healthy relationships. This event is free and limited space is available. Lunch will be provided for those that attend. Registration deadline is Friday, October 3.
