Heritage Elementary Hey Day
Festival
There's fun for the whole
family at this year's Hey Day Festival. Heritage
Elementary School will host the event Friday, September 28,
from 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. There will be carnival
games, inflatable slides, face-painting and much more.
Tickets are $10 each, and everyone is welcome.
Woodland Middle Teams with
Sally Foster
It's never too soon to
starting thinking about the holidays. The Woodland Middle School PTO is
teaming with Sally Foster to sell wrapping paper and other
items. Woodland earns 50% on everything sold online.
Simply go to Sally Foster's website and type in the school's
account number: 852197.
The proceeds will enable
the PTO to continue to fund and support the needs of our
students, teachers and school.
The fundraiser runs until
September 24.
Bethesda Elementary Fall
Fest
Come celebrate the start of
fall at the Bethesda Elementary School Fall Fest. The
event will be held at the school October 5 from 5:00 p.m.
until 8:30 p.m. There will be plenty of activities
including games, inflatable slides and food. There is
no cost to attend Fall Fest, but the money raised through
concessions will go toward the school.
Woodland
Middle Band Fundraiser
The
Woodland Warriors band is trying to raise money to repair
and replenish its band room. The band is currently selling
entertainment books filled with coupons for local
restaurants, shops and other venues. The cost is $20, and
the coupon books can be picked up in Woodland Middle’s front office.
Walnut
Grove Elementary Field of Dreams
The 2007 Field of Dreams
donation drive kicked off Monday, September 17, at Walnut
Grove Elementary School. The donations from this
fund-raising campaign will be used to complete the LCD
project started in 2006. This technology, outfitted in each
classroom, allows all computer, cable, DVD, VHS and Internet
images to be projected via the LCD projector onto 81 inch
screens. A suggested donation of $65 per student is greatly
appreciated; however, any amount, whether more or less, will
help WGES reach its goal.
Longview
Elementary Smart Savings Cards
Longview
Elementary School families are encouraged to purchase a smart savings card
to help the school raise funds. The smart cards are only
$12 each, and they contain coupons for nearly 100

100 percent of the money earned from the sale of these cards.
The last day to purchase the smart savings card will be
Friday, September 21.
