FAMILY FUN NIGHT
Games, pizza, and a silent
auction! Walnut Grove Elementary School held its annual
Family Fun Night Friday, September 7. Hundreds of families
attended the event, which also included a cake walk and
disco.

A PERFECT SCORE
Do you remember taking the ACT
exam? It’s one of the tests given to high school students
to measure how much they have learned. Franklin High
School Lindsey McCloy did what most students
thought was impossible: she scored a perfect 36 on her ACT
exam.

BE A FRIEND, NOT A BULLY
Grassland Middle School wants
its students to take a stand against bullies. Grassland
held a school assembly Friday, September 7, to teach the kids
about the issue. They even got some help from a local
band.

A DANCE REVOLUTION
It seems most children these
days would rather play video games than exercise. Now
there's a way they can do both. Trinity Elementary
School is getting its kids in shape with a video game called
Dance, Dance Revolution.

WC-TV’S Teacher Feature is
back and better than ever! Each month, a selected teacher
will be honored with a special prize package. Nominations
are now being accepted.
