RHS THEATER DEPARTMENT
PRESENTS:
THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST
Set in England during the late
Victorian era, The Importance of Being Earnest is
widely known as Oscar Wilde's most popular play. Full
of witty dialogue and colorful characters, the play
satirizes the hypocrisy of late Victorian society.
Ravenwood High School's Theater Department will perform the
play October 9 through 11 at 7 p.m. each night and on
Sunday, October 12 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $8 at the
door.
CENTENNIAL HIGH PRESENTS
THE CURIOUS SAVAGE
Greed and dishonesty are at
the center of this tale about a slightly eccentric,
extremely wealthy widow who tries to help a group of social
misfits with her inheritance. The Curious Savage
is a comedic play about a woman named Ethel P. Savage and
her greedy stepchildren. Centennial High School
juniors and seniors will perform the play October 9 and 11
at 7 p.m. and October 12 at 2 p.m. in the CHS Multi-purpose
room. Tickets will be $7 at the door.
HERITAGE ELEMENTARY
PRESENTS
INTERNATIONAL MUSIC ADVENTURE
Discover music from nations
far and wide at this unique event. Heritage Elementary
School fourth graders will perform International Music
Adventure
Tuesday, October 28 at 6:30 p.m. Join Captain John and
his crew as they guide the group around the world to each of
their mystery musical destinations. The performance,
which is free to the public, is part of the school's
multicultural evening, which will also feature international
food, dancing and games.
AN EVENING WITH MICHAEL
MCDONALD
The man behind such
classic hits as I Keep Forgetting and Taking it to
the Streets will help raise money for the Franklin High
School Band. Grammy award-winning artist Michael
McDonald will perform Saturday, November 1 in Collins
Alumni Auditorium on the Lipscomb University campus.
The performance begins at 8:00 p.m. and tickets are $35

FRANKLIN HIGH PRESENTS
ROMEO AND JULIET
Witness one of the
greatest love stories of all time as the Franklin High
School Theatre Department performs William Shakespeare's
timeless classic Romeo and Juliet. The
story of two star-crossed lovers will come to life
November 6 through 8 at 7 p.m. and November 9 at 3 p.m.
at Franklin High School. Tickets are $7 each.
WMS BAND PRESENTS: A
NIGHT OF ASIAN MUSIC
Experience the sounds of
the far East with the Woodland Middle School Band.
On November 20, the band will perform a collection of
Asian songs at 7 p.m. in the gymnasium. The
concert is free and open to the public. |
