TEEN READ WEEK

Students at Woodland Middle School celebrated Teen Read Week during October. Members of the Book Club wrote about their favorite books, and many of their reviews were read on the morning announcements. In addition, some club members participated in a special videotaping of their book reviews for WC-TV. They will be featured during Book Break segments that will air throughout regular programming on Comcast 3 and Charter 96.

Students participating in the taping include Auva Attar, McKenzie Atwood, Brooke Andersen, Grace Choi, Emily Cullum, Gabby Dent, Lloyd Hancock, Iris Hao, Josee Hutchinson, Clay Jeffries, Olivia Ranseen, Maddie Rife, Alyssa Stockard and Alex Wright. Woodland’s Media Specialist is Lindsey Anderson.

WCTV's Newt Danley prepares Woodland Middle School students Brooke Anderson and Iris Hao before they share their favorite book The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane by Kate Dicamillo.
