RAVENWOOD UMBRELLAS FOR SALE

Stay dry and support Ravenwood High School at the same time.  Team 2012 is currently selling Raptor Umbrellas.  There are two styles: a 60-inch black and red golf umbrella and a compact red folding umbrella.  They sell for $20 and $10 respectively.  Order forms can be found in the Ravenwood front office or call Linda Hughes at 373-4190 for more information. 

SUNSET ELEMENTARY UGLY MUG FUNDRAISER

Sunset Elementary School kicks off its Ugly Mug fundraiser on Friday, October 24.  Students at Sunset Elementary school will begin selling items from the Ugly Mug catalogue to raise money for SmartBoards in each classroom.  Ugly Mug offers many beverages including premium coffee, gourmet hot chocolate and chai tea. 

SUNSET ELEMENTARY FALL FESTIVAL

Mark your calendars.  It's time for parents and students at Sunset Elementary School to start gearing up for the third annual Fall Festival.  The fun-filled afternoon will take place Saturday, October 25, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.  There will be plenty of inflatable toys, games and food at this year's Fall Festival, which has become one of Sunset Elementary School's most popular events.  Contact the school at 472-5020 for more information.

NOLENSVILLE ELEMENTARY HARVEST FESTIVAL

Fun for the whole family.  That's one way to describe Nolensville Elementary School's annual Harvest Festival.  This year, the event will be held Saturday, October 25 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.  The Harvest Festival is a great fundraiser for the school and a lot of fun for everyone.  It will feature plenty of carnival games, craft booths and food, so don't miss out on what's sure to be a good time.

WESTWOOD ELEMENTARY FALL FESTIVAL

Westwood Elementary will host its annual Fall Festival Saturday, October 25, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m.  There will be more than 20 games for the children to enjoy in addition to jump houses, a costume parade and musical acts.  There will also be a silent auction for the adults featuring gift baskets, savings bonds and gift certificates.  Admission to the Fall Festival is free.  If you order them ahead of time, wristbands to play the games will cost $15 each with a $30 maximum per family.  The cost for wristbands will go up the day of the event, costing $18 each with a $35 maximum.

AN EVENING WITH MICHAEL MCDONALD

The man behind such classic hits as I Keep Forgetting and Taking it to the Streets will help raise money for the Franklin High School Band.  Grammy award-winning artist Michael McDonald will perform Saturday, November 1 in Collins Alumni Auditorium on the Lipscomb University campus.  The performance begins at 8 p.m. and tickets are $35 each.  To purchase tickets, click on this LINK and fill out the order form.  All proceeds will benefit the Franklin High School Band.

TRINITY ELEMENTARY AUCTION & SPAGHETTI DINNER

Dozens of wonderful items will be up for grabs November 7 at Trinity Elementary School's annual Auction and Spaghetti Dinner.  In addition to 39 classroom baskets, parents and community members can bid on a wide array of gifts and services.  Of course, there will also be lots and lots of pasta to eat, so be sure to come out and support Trinity Elementary School.  The event, which will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., and is open to the public.

RAVENWOOD HIGH GOLF TOURNAMENT

The seventh annual Ravenwood Athletic Club Golf Tournament will be held Saturday, November 8 at the Forrest Crossing Golf Course.  This is a fundraiser for RHS Baseball and Golf.  Registration and breakfast begins at 7 a.m. Saturday morning, with the tournament beginning at 8 a.m.  Registration deadline and payments must be received by October 20, 2008.  For more information and a registration packet, please email Leslie Kukowski at leslie.kukowski@comcast.net.

RAVENWOOD HIGH SONGWRITERS' NIGHT

Get ready for an exciting night of entertainment.  Songwriter Mark Springer, who has written songs for country stars like Kenny Chesney and Tanya Tucker, will present a Songwriters' Night at Ravenwood High School Saturday, November 15.  In addition to the wonderful live music, there will also be a silent auction.  Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the music begins at 7 p.m.  Tickets are only $15.  To purchase tickets, contact Cindy Mansfield at cindy.mansfield@comcast.net or call her at (615) 319-9094.  The money raised at this event will benefit the Raptors' basketball program.
