NOLENSVILLE HARVEST FESTIVAL
Come celebrate autumn with
the students at Nolensville Elementary School. The school
is holding its annual Harvest Festival October 27 from 8:00
a.m. until 3:00 p.m. There will be carnival games,
inflatable slides, crafts and the annual chili cook-off.
The event is free and open to the public.
SONGWRITERS UNDER THE STARS
Come one come all to the
songwriters concert Sunday, October 28 in the Eddy
Arnold Amphitheater at Crockett Park. The concert begins at
7:00 p.m. Admission is free, but donations are
requested. The songwriters performing will be Gordon
Kennedy, who wrote Change the World sung by Eric Clapton; Brett
James, who wrote Jesus take the Wheel sung by Carrie Underwood
and Blessed sung by Martina McBride, and Victoria
Shaw who wrote The River sung by Garth Brooks. Donations will benefit
the Woodland Middle School Band.
WESTWOOD FAMILY FUN NIGHT
Westwood Elementary PTO is
planning a family fun night November 8. There will be a
chili dinner at 6:00 p.m. and fun science experiments for
all children at 7:00 p.m. The chili dinner is $3 for
children, $4 for adults and $15 per family if purchased in
advance. The cost at the door is $4 for children, $5 for
adults and $20 per family. This event is open to
the
community. Please RSVP to Westwood Elementary School if you
plan to come. |
