MUSIC/THEATRE

NOLENSVILLE ELEM. PRESENTS THIS IS AMERICA

This Veterans' Day weekend, students from Nolensville Elementary will perform a patriotic musical to honor the veterans of our community.  The students will be joined by the Brentwood Baptist Orchestra.  The performance will be Saturday, November 10 at 6:30 p.m. at Brentwood Baptist Church on Concord Road.

INDEPENDENCE HIGH PRESENTS THE SOUND OF MUSIC 

The halls are alive with The Sound of Music!  Independence High School will perform the cherished musical November 8 through 10 and November 15 through 17 at 7:00 p.m. in the school auditorium.  Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for students and seniors, and children four and under are free.

CENTENNIAL HIGH PRESENTS THE MAN WHO CAME TO DINNER

Have a laugh with the students at Centennial High School as they present The Man Who Came to Dinner.  The comedy is about an egotistical critic who trips on the front step of his hosts' home and is trapped there for six weeks until the broken bones heal.  The performances will be from November 8 through 10 at 7:00 p.m. and November 11 at 2:00 p.m.  Tickets are $7 each.

MIDDLE COLLEGE HIGH PRESENTS WEB OF MURDER

Enjoy a light-hearted murder mystery with the students at Middle College High School.  The school's drama department will perform Web of Murder November 9 and 10.  Each performance will begin at 7:00 p.m.  Tickets are three dollars per person or five dollars per couple.

PAGE HIGH SCHOOL PRESENTS PATRIOT IDOL

Page High School puts its own twist on the wildly popular TV show American Idol.  Following open auditions, the top 12 finalists will perform in front of a live audience at Page High School November 19 at 7:00 p.m.  The grand prize will be to professionally record one song and create a music video for that song.

FRANKLIN HIGH PRESENTS A CHRISTMAS CAROL

Enjoy the classic tale of Ebeneezer Scrooge with the cast of Franklin High School's Drama Department.  They will perform Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol December 6 through 9.
