WOODLAND MIDDLE SCHOOL BOOK FAIR

Take care of some holiday shopping at the Woodland Middle School Book Fair.  This annual event will be held the week of December 1.  Hundreds of books and other goodies will be on sale.  Family Night will be December 4 and 5, and will feature author Roland Smith.  Smith has written such books as Peak, IQ and Zach's Lie.  The money raised from this event will go toward the Woodland Middle School Library.

BHS DECA PRESENTS: SANDY'S WHITE CHRISTMAS

The Brentwood High School DECA program will hold a special fundraiser December 4 at The Factory in Franklin.  Proceeds from Sandy's White Christmas will help Sandy Flanigan, who in 1999 was diagnosed with leukemia.  A few years later, Sandy suffered a heart attack and was dropped by her insurance company.  The money raised from this event will go toward paying for her next chemo treatment.  Sandy's White Christmas will be held December 4 in Jameson Hall at The Factory.  The event will feature a silent auction, dinner and entertainment.  Doors open at 6 p.m.  For more information, contact Lisa Nease at lisan@wcs.edu.

RAVENWOOD UMBRELLAS FOR SALE

Stay dry and support Ravenwood High School at the same time.  Team 2012 is currently selling Raptor Umbrellas.  There are two styles: a 60-inch black and red golf umbrella and a compact red folding umbrella.  They sell for $20 and $10 respectively.  Order forms can be found in the Ravenwood front office or call Linda Hughes at 373-4190 for more information. 

SUNSET ELEMENTARY UGLY MUG FUNDRAISER

Sunset Elementary School kicks off its Ugly Mug fundraiser on Friday, October 24.  Students at Sunset Elementary school will begin selling items from the Ugly Mug catalogue to raise money for SmartBoards in each classroom.  Ugly Mug offers many beverages including premium coffee, gourmet hot chocolate and chai tea.
