FRANKLIN HIGH PRESENTS A
CHRISTMAS CAROL
Enjoy the classic tale of
Ebeneezer Scrooge with the cast of Franklin High School's
Drama Department. They will perform Charles Dickens'
A Christmas Carol December 6 through 8 at 7:00 p.m. and December 9 at 3:00 p.m. Tickets are $5 each.
BRENTWOOD HIGH PRESENTS
MAGNIFICAT
The Brentwood High School
Grand Chorus will perform John Rutter's Magnificat
Thursday, December 6 at 7:00 p.m. at Brentwood United
Methodist Church. Come hear this glorious work along
with many other holiday favorites. Tickets are $5
each.
FRANKLIN HIGH PRESENTS A
WINTER CHORUS CONCERT
Get into the holiday spirit
with the Choral Department at Franklin High School.
They will present A Winter Chorus Concert Thursday, December
13 at 7:00 p.m. in the Franklin High School Auditorium.
The students will sing a collection of holiday songs.
The performance is free and open to the public.
HERITAGE ELEMENTARY
PRESENTS A HOLIDAY MUSICAL CONCERT
The students at Heritage
Elementary will celebrate the holidays with a musical
concert December 13. Heritage fourth and fifth graders
will sing their favorite carols beginning at 6:30 p.m. in
the school's gym. The performance is free and open to
the public. The students will also perform Saturday,
December 15 in the Food Court at CoolSprings Galleria.
That performance will begin at 11:00 a.m.
CENTENNIAL HIGH PRESENTS
THE WIZ
You won't find Michael Jackson
or Diana Ross in this adaptation of The Wonderful Wizard
of Oz. The Broadway musical The Wiz, which
was made into a feature film starring Jackson and Ross in
1977, will be performed by members of Centennial High
School's Drama Department February 21 through 23 at 7:00
p.m. and February 24 at 2:00 p.m.
Ticket prices are $7 each.
BRENTWOOD HIGH PRESENTS
LES MISERABLES
One of the longest-running
shows in Broadway history is coming to Brentwood High
School. The Bruins Drama Department will perform Les Miserables
March 6 through March 9. Les Miserables
follows the lives of several French characters over a 20
year period in the early 19th century. Tickets prices
and show times have yet to be determined.
PAGE HIGH PRESENTS BYE
BYE BIRDIE
A rock and roll superstar is
about to be inducted into the U.S. Army in this classic
musical. Bye Bye Birdie is the tale of rock
star Conrad Birdie and a plan to give a female fan "one last
kiss" before heading off to basic training. Page High
School will perform the cherished musical March 6 through
March 9. Ticket prices and show times have yet to be
