“Chris will provide a
seamless transition for Trinity Elementary,” said
Sharber. “She has been a teacher and administrator in
our district for several years so she will be able to
carry on the traditions of excellence and community
established at Trinity.”
Schwartz has been
serving as assistant principal at Bethesda Elementary
for the past two years. Prior to that time, she taught
for eight years teaching fourth and fifth grades at
Bethesda, serving as the academic specialist there and
teaching sixth grade in Florida.
“I am honored to have
the opportunity to serve as the next principal of
Trinity Elementary. Trinity is a great school with a
very talented staff and it will be my privilege to work
with such a dedicated group of professionals,” said
Schwartz. “I will sincerely miss the faculty, staff,
students and families at Bethesda; however, I am also
eager to begin building a partnership with the wonderful
teachers, students and families at Trinity.”
Schwartz holds a
Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Illinois Wesleyan,
1991; a Master’s in Elementary Education from the
University of West Florida, 1997; and an Education
Specialist’s Degree in Administration and Supervision
from Middle Tennessee State University, 2004.
Schwartz will begin
her new responsibilities January 1, 2008.
