ISSUE 22
July 17, 2008
IN THIS ISSUE...

Williamson County Schools is
taking action to protect the more than 5,000 students whose
social security numbers were posted online.
In this issue, you will find the latest information
regarding the SECURITY BREACH.
As always, we have several
video stories for you to check out. First off, take a
trip to the computer lab with the students at this year's
Williamson County Schools
TECHNOLOGY CAMP.
Then, see how some students spent their summer learning
about the English language and customs at the annual
ELL
SUMMER SCHOOL.
With the school year almost
upon us, it's time to start preparing for the first day of
class. In the weeks ahead, each Williamson County high
school will have its own ORIENTATION DAY for students
so that they receive their class schedule and become
familiar with the building and staff. Parents should
also become familiar with the various
START AND DISMISSAL
TIMES for their child's school.
In this issue you will also
find information pertaining to several
JOB OPPORTUNITIES within
Williamson County Schools. Plus, WCS Health/Wellness
Coordinator Ken Brooks brings us an inspiring true story of
a central office staffer who lost 20 lbs. by adopting a few
HEALTHY HABITS.
