OFF TO A GREAT START
We are a month into the
2007-2008 school year and things are off to a great start.
In this edition of IN FOCUS, we continue to
recognize the accomplishments of Williamson County
students and staff.
Some Williamson County
secretaries and bookkeepers were treated to a
<luxury limo
lunch>! A Williamson County principal will travel to
<Finland> to observe their education system. And you don't
want to miss the video piece on Trinity Elementary fourth
graders and their
<field trip> to Nashville!
Other news this week: A new
<traffic plan> goes into effect at Franklin High School
September 10, Williamson County students outperform the
nation in <advanced placement exams>, and important
information for students as they prepare for college.
Also this week, we have a
variety
of new pieces in the <student art> section, and plenty of
new pictures in the <photo gallery>. Many schools will
begin having musical and theatrical performances in the
coming weeks. Be sure and go to our
<music/theater> section
to find out information about upcoming performances.
We hope you enjoy what this
issue has to offer, and please encourage folks to
<sign up>
for IN FOCUS so they can learn about all the
great things going on inside Williamson County
Schools. As always, feel free to
<contact us> with any comments or
questions. The next IN FOCUS will be out
September 20. |
