ISSUE 5
OCTOBER 4, 2007
TIME FLIES
They say
time flies when you're having fun. Well, we must be
having a blast because autumn is already here.
Students and teachers are gearing up for Fall Break, which
begins Friday, October 12 and lasts through Tuesday, October
16. In addition, the first quarter grading period will
come to an end October 11.
This
edition of IN FOCUS features three new videos.
In the first one, see how a group of Ravenwood students
worked together to create a
<MASTERPIECE>. Also
this week, a former NFL star shares some
<WISDOM> with
students at Brentwood Middle School, and another group of
Williamson County secretaries and bookkeepers are treated to
a <LUXURY LIMO LUNCH>.
We have
plenty of other important information to pass along
including the latest efforts to increase
SECURITY at
Williamson County elementary and middle schools. Also,
learn how to best protect your children from
ILLNESS this
cold/flu season. Students at one local high school
will be part of a new reality TV show called
DRAG RACE HIGH,
and a father takes his son to school for the first time
since RETURNING HOME from Iraq.
As always,
check out our FUNDRAISERS and
PHOTO GALLERY sections.
Plus, we have several new
MUSIC/THEATER performances to tell you about. Also, be sure to pass along the word to parents and business
and community members to
SIGN UP for IN FOCUS.
We want all Williamson County residents to be informed
about their school district. Enjoy this issue, and
look for the next installment on October 25. |
