MUSIC/THEATRE

FAIRVIEW HIGH PRESENTS DEARLY DEPARTED

A slightly dysfunctional family gathers to mourn the loss of the family patriarch.  Dearly Departed tells the story of the Turpin family, and how they find a way to comfort each other in their time of need.  Fairview High School will perform Dearly Departed October 25 through October 27 at 7:00 p.m.  Tickets are $5.

BRENTWOOD HIGH PRESENTS BLITHE SPIRIT

Be sure and catch a great night of comedy at Brentwood High School.  The drama department will perform the play Blithe Spirit October 25 through October 27 at 7:00 p.m. and October 28 at 2:00 p.m.  The show is about a writer named Charles who receives an otherworldly visit by his late wife.  Tickets are $6 at the door.

RAVENWOOD HIGH PRESENTS MACBETH 

Ravenwood High School's Theater Department presents Shakespeare’s classic tragedy Macbeth.  A story of greed, power and the supernatural, Macbeth can be seen October 25 through October 27 at 7:00 p.m. at Ravenwood High School.  There will also be a performance Sunday, October 28, at 2 p.m.  Tickets are $7 each. 

FRANKLIN HIGH PRESENTS NEIL SIMON’S FOOLS 

Join Franklin High School for a night of laughter.  Franklin High School’s Theatre Department will present the play Fools by Neil Simon.  Fools is the story of a small Ukrainian village that has been under a curse for the last 100 years.  The performance will be held November 1 and November 3 at 7:00 p.m., and November 4 at 3:00 p.m.  Admission is $7 at the door.  Children five and under are free. 

HERITAGE ELEMENTARY PRESENTS MUSIC OF THE DECADES

Take a stroll down memory lane with the students at Heritage Elementary School.  Their first music program of the year will be November 1 at 6:30 p.m.  Heritage fifth graders will perform Music of the Decades: 50’s to the Present.  The event is free and will be held in the gymnasium. 

PAGE HIGH PRESENTS FAITH COUNTY 

Page High School Theater is proud to present Faith County November 1 through November 4.  Faith County is a hilarious look at life in a small southern town where a colorful collection of country folk gather at the Faith County Fairgrounds.  Performances will begin at 7:00 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and at 2:00 p.m. Sunday.  Tickets are $5 each.

INDEPENDENCE HIGH PRESENTS THE SOUND OF MUSIC 

The halls are alive with The Sound of Music!  Independence High School will perform the cherished musical November 8 through November 10 and November 15 through November 17 at 7:00 p.m. in the school auditorium.

MIDDLE COLLEGE HIGH PRESENTS WEB OF MURDER

Enjoy a light-hearted murder mystery with the students at Middle College High School.  The school's drama department will perform Web of Murder November 9 and 10.  Each performance will begin at 7:00 p.m.  The cost is yet to be determined.
