GIVING THANKS...
It's hard
to believe Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away.
Teachers and students will get a much deserved break
November 21 through 23.
This
edition of IN FOCUS features six news videos.
Find out how students at Sunset Elementary are learning
important
<LESSONS FROM PERU>. A group of third
graders experience school as it was in the year 1845 with a
trip to
<BOILING SPRING ACADEMY>. Students
learn how to protect themselves from online predators with
an important lesson regarding
<INTERNET SAFETY>.
Also, a former Tennessee Titan teaches children at
Lipscomb Elementary about the importance of
<EATING
HEALTHY>. Educators from across the nation take a
<TECHNOLOGY TOUR> at Nolensville Elementary and another
group of secretaries and bookkeepers are treated to a
<LUXURY LIMO LUNCH>.
Other
stories this week include Williamson County Schools'
impressive performance on the 2007 State Report Card, a
group of high school students take the stage at the CMA
Awards Show and why knowing your BMI is an important step
toward living a healthy life.
We have
several new additions to the
MUSIC/THEATER section including a special Veterans'
Day performance in Brentwood and Page High School's own take
on the wildly popular TV show American Idol.
Also, be sure to pass along the word to parents and business
