SIX – YEAR PLAN
The Six-Year Plan is a long-term, comprehensive academic plan
that projects a student’s probable classes for the four years of high
school and also defines some basic post-secondary plans.
It is reviewed each year at course registration time and changes
are made if necessary.
Classes are organized, teachers hired, and teacher assignments made
based upon student requests.
When parents, students, and a guidance counselor agree on course
selections for the upcoming year, each will sign a class registration
form that coincides with the Six-Year Plan.
This schedule must be followed for the upcoming year.
It is essential that parents and students understand that the
student is contracting for those specific classes and will be expected
to take them in the upcoming school year
without requesting changes.
