Mission Of
the Williamson County Adult
Education Program
Our
mission is to provide
educational opportunities to
adult learners, ages 18 and
older that are not enrolled in
school. Williamson County
Adult Education provides a
diverse educational program
which assists adult learners who
choose to improve basic literacy
skills (learn to read and
write), obtain their GED, enter
post-secondary education, learn
to speak English as a second
language, or become better
equipped to enter the workforce
by improving job skills.
Vision of the Williamson County
Adult Education Program
Our vision
is to provide educational
services to meet the needs of
the adult learner/employer in
our community.
Services

We offer
free GED, English as a Second
Language (ESL), and basic skills

taught by certified teachers and
are open to persons 18 years or
older who are not currently

classes are designed to meet the
needs of a wide range of student
levels and abilities.

Volunteer
Opportunities
The Adult Education program
utilizes volunteers to provide
tutoring services both in a
one-on-one and a small group
setting.
Volunteers may work with
students enrolled in the program
to obtain their GED or those who
are working to improve their
English skills.
There may also be
opportunities to assist students
who are preparing to enter
college and need to update their
skills prior to enrollment.
If you are interested in
working in any of these
capacities, please call the
office to speak to the
supervisor.
