Interns 2007-2008

Wes Henry

Hello everyone. My name is Wes Henry (note the title under my picture). I enjoy long walks on the beach and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I am an intern for WBHS-9. I operate sideline camera for football and do camera for basketball, volleyball, and other sports too! I love TV PRO and I know it loves me back. I'm sort of a big deal. Yeah.

Derek Faulkner

A few months into this school year, and I am busy as ever. We just got finished covering the volleyball state championships, in which Brentwood emerged victorious once again. I am updating the website almost daily, and I have my nose in other special projects, such as the cooking show. You will also probably see me working a few basketball games. After a day of interning is complete, I still like to go out and skate or play drums. Its that Drama King exclusive!

Whats the deal with airline food? A good way to start a written document is with a question. Now that I have gotten the formalities out of the way, this year has been going great. I was sad to see both the volleyball and football seasons come to an end. However I am excited to film the football playoffs and the basketball regular season. Other than filming sporting events, I have been busy working on Brentwood Outlook. Brentwood Outlook has been busy covering stories about the special Olympics and the upstart media program at Brentwood Middle School. I could also have been see as the infamous "Mitch" in "Welcome to Shady Hill". (The Brentwood Outlook/Fantastic Five spooky show CO-OP)

Brad Hollinger

Hey everybody! The first quarter of being an intern is now over, but it was a lot of fun. I enjoyed doing the audio for the home football games, and I'm now about to begin announcing boys varsity basketball with Austin. I will also continue my work with the City of Brentwood, and the department videos. The police video was a great success, and can't wait to move on to the next department! "Make it hot."

Liz Pears

Hello everyone! I can't believe how fast this year is going. I have been busy and I have been loving every minute of my senior year! Sideline reporting football games has been so much fun. My talk show and fashion show has been a hit, and I have had the oppertunity to interview many different people. I can not wait until basketball starts and I will be announcing the girls games. Danceteam has also been going perfect. We are getting ready to compete at State the first of December. Also I am the Sugar Plum Fairy in Green Hills School of Dance's Nutcracker, so come out and see it!!!!!

Love you, Liz

Well I have been enjoying working at WBHS-9. I have helped do most of the football games. We are getting ready for basketball its going to be fun looking forward to it. Still am really active at my church and Brentwood of Chick Fil A.

Camaren Daniel
Football is now coming to an end and basketball is starting up. I have had a great opportunity to do sideline reports at Brentwood High football games. I am now announcing girl's basketball and doing sideline announcing for boys basketball. I am looking at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and also the University of Alabama for college. The Fantastic Four, which is associated with Brentwood Outlook, is also having lots of fun! Spookie Shows went really good and we are still producing shows every two weeks to air on Channel 9.

Courtney Lyle

Sadly, football is coming to an end. Its been a great adventure learning how to direct. The good news is that basketball is about to start up and I am really excited to get to announce with Camaren. Outside of the sports world, the Fantastic Five (in cooperation with Brentwood Outlook) just finished our spookie show. It was so much fun to film and I hope we can do another creative film soon.

Austin Stanley
My Senior football season is closing, and basketball season is approaching. I am excited to get started with Brad on what is going to be a great season. Another project that is well underway is our cooking show. We have two up coming shows, a southern homecooking show and a Thanksgiving show. These shows are good for me so I can get experience in the kitchen. Check out Channel 9 on Tuesday and Thursday nights for live basketball coverage with myself and Brad Hollinger. Also tune in for In the Kitchen with Brett and Austin.
