Explanation of Project:  The mousetrap vehicle race is a project where students construct a car that will travel 25 feet in the shortest amount of time possible.  The teacher supplies students with a mousetrap and a few rules:

  1. No power sources other than the mousetrap

  2. It must travel on the ground

  3. It must stay intact throughout the race.

Extra points were awarded to cars traveling 50 ft, 75ft, and 100 ft.
