Calculation of the GPA

The Calculation of the GPA is determined by dividing the sum of the quality points, including accelerated quality points, by the total courses attempted.  Credit given to all courses taken in high school is counted.  Grade point averages (GPA) are calculated on the following graduated 4-point scale with additional grade point weighting of 0.5 for Honors courses and 1.0 for Advanced Placement (AP) courses.
