STRUCTURE OF SCHOOL DAY and SCHOOL YEAR

There are eight periods in the school day.  Lunch/homeroom will be either fifth or sixth period.  Students are generally scheduled for six credit classes and one study hall.  Students may request seven credit classes in lieu of a study hall.

BHS follows the semester system with 4 nine-week grading periods.  Class periods are 47 minutes with 8 periods per day during the straight schedule.  The school year is 180 days with school hours from 7:25 a.m. to 2:32 p.m.
