Sewanee Multicultural Experience Weekend (MEW)
Multicultural Experience Weekend (MEW) is an
annual on-campus event aimed at promoting diversity at Sewanee.
Prospective students will have the opportunity to stay in our dorms with
student hosts, attend classes, and get a taste of campus life. This
year, the program is scheduled for November 12 – 14.
To learn more about MEW, visit our website at
admission.sewanee.edu/events/multicultural .
MEW is an invitation-only event, and space
is limited. Students selected to participate must be
nominated by their guidance counselors. We hope
that you have one or more students in mind who would benefit from this
experience. If you are interested in
participating in this event, please see your guidance counselor so the
application and nomination process can be completed as soon as possible.
Students can visit our website at
admission.sewanee.edu/events/multicultural, and click on “MEW
Nomination Form” to download and print an application/nomination
form – the form is a self-mailer and no postage is required.
