Brentwood Middle School PTO

Welcome Parents,

The BMS PTO welcomes you and your student to Brentwood Middle -a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence.  We hope your years at BMS will be as wonderful for your family as it has been for ours.  Middle school is a time of great change for all of us, parents and students alike, and we know that the leadership and faculty at BMS are experts at helping all of us navigate these untested waters.

Our mission is to support our principals and faculty as they provide a quality education for our children.  That involves volunteering your time, talents, and financial support which enables us to improve our school in ways not funded through your tax dollars.  When you pay the nominal PTO dues, your family will receive a BMS directory when it is published.  In addition, we have our annual fundraiser--Mission Possible.

There are many opportunities for you to be involved at BMS.  A full list of volunteer activities is available, and we hope you will take a few minutes to explore the ways you can participate.  From helping with socials, welcome desk, hospitality, or working in the library, volunteering with the PTO gets you tuned in and connected to the Brentwood Middle family.

We also provide several methods of communication--one of the most important being our bi-weekly newsletter, The Viking Vitals.  This newsletter contains information on all the school "doings" from athletics to academics, extracurricular activities to key messages from Dr. Kendrick.  We also host POGS (Parents of Great Students) meetings each semester which cover a variety of topics of interest to parents at each grade level.  Finally, we publish the highly coveted School Directory which allows you and your students to stay in touch--no matter who you need to contact.

Again, we want to welcome you to Brentwood Middle and encourage you to get involved with us.
