Social Activities:

One way to experience a smoother transition to a new school is to become involved in social activities.  New students are encouraged to join organized clubs, which hold meetings before and after school.  They are also encouraged to attend school sponsored events such as plays, choral or band performances, and sporting events.  Being a spectator or a participant helps students feel that they are making a contribution to the school.
