November 15, 2004 The school naming committee met Tuesday, December 14 and selected three names for the new elementary and middle school that is being constructed on Sunset Road. The School Board makes the final decision and is scheduled to consider the following names at its January 18th meeting: Sunset, Cedars, Creekside Principal Named Grassland Middle School Assistant Principal Lynn Winters has been named principal of Williamson County’s newest elementary school. Director of Schools Rebecca Schwab made the announcement today. The elementary school will be located on Sunset Road along with a middle school. The elementary school will open with the 2005-06 school year serving students in kindergarten through sixth grade. The middle school will open later and will add a grade level each year up to eighth grade by the 2007-08 school year. |
