To be considered for a certificated position with Williamson County Schools, you must have the following:

  1. At least a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  2. A valid Tennessee teaching certificate for the level and/or subject area that you are to teach, or be eligible for a temporary, transitional Tennessee teaching certificate
  3. Be “Highly Qualified” under “No Child Left Behind” Legislation in the core teaching subject you are applying for
  4. A completed online Williamson County Schools Certificated Application
  5. A completed online Teacher Insight Interview with Gallup, if required

If you hold a Tennessee teaching license, please scan and attach a copy to your application. If you do not hold a Tennessee teaching license, you must meet eligibility requirements for an alternative certificate in the area you wish to teach. To be considered for a classified or support position, you must:

  1. Meet the minimum qualifications for the position you are seeking
  2. A completed online Williamson County Schools Classified Application
  3. Attach transcripts (optional)
