are five games under consideration and the
winner will be determined by the most votes
received.

Congratulations, Band!
The band competed in the
Hendersonville Golden
Invitational this past
Saturday. There were 22
bands in five classes.
Centennial received a
Superior rating. This
is the highest rating
given; only 3 bands
received Superior.
The band also won -
First Place Horn Line in
their Class
First Place Percussion
in their Class and First
Place Overall
First Place Color Guard
in their Class and
Second Place Overall
First place Band in
their class and Second

Cougars win again!!!!!! |

Cross Country |
Please congratulate the
Cross Country Team! Yesterday, in a district
meet, every one of our 25 runners – girls/ boys
ran a personal best . It was a great effort –
we run a 3.1 mile race. Phillip Brasher ran
the distance in 18:50 to lead our guys, and
Danielle Dipillo ran it in 23:38. If you have a
chance, come to the Steeplechase course at 9:00
Saturday to watch us run. There will be 70-90
teams there from across the state and South.

won
their golf match yesterday against Overton and
Hillwood. Bria Norris shot a 37, and Courtney
Gustafson shot a 59. |

School Spirit |
We are starting a new Spirit Club (yet to be
named – that is part of the agenda for
today’s meeting) and after the seniors get
the details pounded out we will be having
meetings open to all of the school.

Beautification |
Mr. Nuñez
would like to recognize and thank the
following teachers for showing up and working
hard to clean up and beautify the teacher’s
entrance this past Saturday: Jan Lincoln,
Vicki York, Shreyas Patel, and Natalie Davis.
They did a terrific job!
Mrs. Lincoln noted that our new assistant
principal was working very diligently himself.
Let's keep that going and keep our campus
beautiful!!!
