A message from Dr. Shrader...

To all who visit our website, welcome to Centennial High School, the proud recent recipient of the Tennessee Department of Education Incentive Award.  What does that mean?  It means we have a great school.  I am excited to be at Centennial:  we are about cultivating the ability, intellect, and character of each of our CHS students.  Yes, this is the mission of the school system, but I commit to make this mission a reality for the lives of our students.  As partners in learning at Centennial, we work together to refine our students' talents and abilities.  We help to develop their intellect and character. 

To our students, it will be great for you to be a part of a school where you are truly valued.  Working together, we will become a committed community of learners!

Be a committed Cougar...get involved.  Activities are exciting and will help you discover information not taught in the classroom.  Active, involved students learn valuable leadership lessons that teach leadership skills.  On behalf of the entire staff,  I extend our best wishes for success in all of your educational pursuits.  I'm excited about what we will accomplish.
