"Most people who haven't had a death of
someone very close to them don't realize that it never goes away. They
talk about nonsensical things like closure and healing, but what people
are coming to realize is that when someone close to you dies, one of the
stars you steer by falls from your firmament. If 9/11 has taught us
anything, it is about the continuity of loss and how things are ALWAYS
different after death."
Dr. Sherwin B. Nuland
A Christmas tree will be placed inside
the Outdoor Classroom on December 20 at Noon. You are
invited to come and bring an ornament for someone to be remembered this
year in a special way and in a special place. If you bring an
ornament that you trust to be stored with me until next Christmas, I
place them on the tree first the next year and keep adding each year.
Satin balls are furnished to write a message to your loved one.
Dress warm.
