Subject: Reminder for Silent Auction Class Basket Donations

Dear Parents,

A couple of weeks ago, I sent out a letter requesting your help with our class basket for the silent auction. Thank you to all of you who have sent in items and/or money for our basket. I really appreciate all of your donations! However, I am still in need of items to complete it. If you have not sent something in yet, it is not too late! This letter is a reminder that our basket theme this year is ______________________________. Please remember that you can either

· donate items that can go with the theme of the basket or

· give a monetary donation to be used in the purchasing of items for the basket.

If you have something specific in mind to give towards the basket, please give me a call to let me know what the item or items are, so we will not get duplicates of items that we have already received or purchased. Just remember to send any items or monetary donations to the school with your child and give to our teacher no later than next Wednesday, September 12, 2007. Please make sure that all donations are clearly marked for our class basket by writing

· your child’s full name on it,

· our teacher’s name and grade on it and

· my name on it.

This will ensure it’s delivery to the right classroom. As our teacher receives them, it will be forwarded on to me. Again, thank you so much for helping out with this request. I think our basket is going to be fantastic and bring in a lot of money for our school!
